Basically showed tonight why he will be number 1 again for this season.. Joe Lewis should hopefully learn off him.

Fantastic performance tonight could of easily conceeded a few goals if it wernt for a number of good saves, lewis needs something special to take marshalls place

I was about to post the same. Fantastic tonight and IMO he should be playing for Scotland more. Arguably the best in the league, but IMO the best shot stopper.

I think he should just stay with us. Every save he done the right thing and that was put it away over the bar most of them. The one in the first half was very diffucult though.

His performance vs Leeds at their ground was brilliant but today he really put his all in and everytime he got called upon he delivered!

There is no doubting that Marshall is a very good shot stopper but he does not command the box well and he is weak in the air from corners/set plays. If he improves in that area he could become the best goalie in the Division.

Without marshall we would have lost 3or4 nil tonight or could have atleast, but thats his job

Is it just me or does he get better year on year. It's early days yet, but what an athlete.

He done well to command his box and their were a lot of times where Turner and Hudson was going to control the ball but Marshall kept shouting to leave it and let him collect it.
