Not the best performance and I do see Malky has found another Love child with Cowie.. he is played out of position and hes not a Right Midfielder or Left Midfielder. Hes Central.

Didn't do very well tonight, just not good enough for the wing.

How Conway didnt start today beggers belief. In my opinion Whitts and Conway should have played on the wings, with Mutch, Cowie and Gunnar in the centre. With Helguson up front.

Bellamy hasnt even had a pre-season or a proper training session with the team yet. So how he was in the starting line up is another mystery.

Rhys thats the thing Cowie was playing behind Graham in a central attacking role.. some how Malky things its good for him on the wing.
Conway had the best pre season by far and I dont know why Malky didn't start him. The guy has the best cross of a ball I've seen from most wingers.. with Helguson thought Conway was guarnteed a start. :ayatollah:

Maybe Conway had a minor knock from the Northampton game so it wasn't a good idea to start him but he'd have been ok for half a game if we'd needed to change something or Bellamy had got injured.

Can see where you're coming from and agree.

I can only hope it's the reason.

I've had enough of Cowie on the wing. Now we have options it shouldn't be necessary 90% of the time.
