I was late getting to the ground so i missed the teams coming out but saw the kick off.
Coming into the Stadium in the Ninian there was large Photos of our past. Ninian Park, Past memories the supporters and IMO that was very good.
Seeing us in our new bright red kits was like a kick in the bollocks. Bad
The Atmosphere was flat, terrible, and i must admit i added to that as i did not have the heart or inclination to sing. And i felt many around me felt the same way. Bad
The supporters in general was very respectful around us. A few murmurs could be heard but did not lead to bad feeling Good
The game itself was awful shit awful ! Bad
Malkys tactics IMO was clueless. Last season Conway was ignored towards the end, and tonight was no different. Cowie out wide ! Not his natural position and was totally ineffective. Conway a natural winger was ignored.
Whitts played very deep and when Whitts plays bad he is shite and tonight he was shite. Kept giving the ball to a blue shirted Player. Pity he didn't do that more towards the end of last season![]()
Bellamy had to come deeper and deeper to try and get the ball but was totally marked out of the game. You could see Bellers was getting very frustrated with what was going on around him as well. At no stage did Malky try and change tactics which is worrying. Very bad.
Marshall was superb Good
We won the game Very good, but to be fair we did not deserve it one jot.
I still left the ground very sad at what i witnessed, re brand wise, the atmosphere, the performance, Never have i come away so glum and won. It isn't right it does not feel right. Had a long chat with Dibs tonight, We disagreed on the re brand but respected each others opinions.
Hope the away games can inspire me more !! We'll see
