thats not the point i was making. the football was the same style and standard that we saw from xmas onwards last season.
why on earth when we have invested in ball playing midfielders and wingers are we continuing to lump it forward instead of playing it through people as we did against newcastle.
it seemed obvious tonight that we need to strengthen our defence because in reality it was marshall who was our man of the match and but for him we would have witnessed a first home game hiding.
