Agreed with the comments that he played to deep tonight but he was doing that in a few games last season. As our distribution from the back is limited to high balls up front, I suspect this is why he is playing deep. I am not going to be too critical tonight, we won the game but thats more down to Marshall than anything else. Plenty to work on and improve. Would have brought Joe Mason on earlier though.

He was shit but so was everyone else and the formation, it seemed nobody knew what was going on in the middle of the pitch between gunner,mutch, whitts even cowie and bellers was comming in the middle half the time it was like we had 5 players all within 5yards of eachother some times i didnt get it at all , but we won so f**k it
