Defence

Last season we won 11 at home drew 7 and lost 5.

We conceeded 29 home goals, more than any other team in the top 10 last season.
Many of these were late goals and as a result we lost valuable points.

Lets hope that the CCS becomes a fortress, we defend better and concede less goals. Perhaps 1/2 defensive signings will help. :ayatollah:

i think defensive stability over signings. as long as the defense is good of course.

i think our back for is good enough, question marks over Hudson on occasion, but he was good last season, while turner took a while to grow into the team. Questions also over mcnaughton, but his defensive qualities are not in question.

Personally think we will concede a lot less (maybe around 20) at home this season.

We must concede less to stand a chance of being top 3, home form is key :ayatollah:

I think this is a defining season for McNaughton. He's been my favourite player since he joined but last year he was way off his usual standard. I am confident he can get back to his best this year though and if he does then it will practically be like we have a new signing on our hands.

To be fair to Kev he was give a different role last season due to cowie playing outwide. He might have the same role this season depending on whose playing in front of him
