We are more like Bluebirds now....

Those that know me know that I respect all opinions and, whilst things could have been handled better, the situation is as it is. Some may say it is for the better and some may disagree - and it is disappointing that there is a divide amongst us.

This got me thinking. We are called the "Bluebirds" yet I have never ever seen a Blue Bird so I wondered what one would look like.

I typed Bluebird into Google Images and this is what came up.

Rather surprisingly the Eastern Bluebird has a red shirt and blue wings!

Now I am not purposely trying to be controversial but there is an argument that we look more like a bluebird now than we did before

After seeing that Paul, We should have previously been called the swallows or the Swifts then as our bird looks nothing like the bluebird.

I did try to make that point on another topic but got shouted down - the bluebird on the badge now is actually a swallow. The devil is sometimes in the detail and you are spot on with that assessment.

Having seen the pictures of the Eastern Bluebird perhaps we should wear shirts that are red at the front and blue at the back.

It might sell more shirts fron the rarity value.

Could also confuse the referees!
