It's undeniable that they've spent a fair bit on playing staff...but until that debt to equity promise is fulfilled then they have just increased the clubs debt. So less of the 'lols' mate, I'm entitled to my opinion as you are

He told the initial meeting that the colour would be changed and showed the new proposed badge which was the new badge minus the bluebird, which you probably knew. Playing in red, with the crest being a lone dragon....the mind boggles as to what the new nic-name would have been!

Can you direct me to any statement from the Malaysians saying that they wanted to call us the Dragons?

I'm not saying you can't but I just can't recall seeing one.

The point I was trying to make, perhaps unsuccessfully, was that they planned to take the bluebird off the crest, to actually REPLACE it with a dragon and to change the kit to Red. We are already being referred to in some sections of the press as 'the Dragons' ( and thats WITH a small bluebird remaining!) and the reality being that we would have been known as 'The Dragons' given that nothing resembling a bluebird (logo or colour) would have remained. I was making a point regarding what their plans were for us without consultation and without regard for our heritage...despite what they've said since.

Let's make no mistake tho, the press have always hated Cardiff and by calling us the dragons is no mistake and just a dig at the fans and to gather further attention and reaction (which they get).
If anything I would think the minimum our fans should know is the press talk shit.

People can call us what they want, to me they are and always will be the bluebirds irrelevant of the size of the bluebird. No media quip will change that.
