confirmed by tg in agm today,he wants sam to sit around table and get it sorted for the good of cardiff,but he keeps moving goalposts.

agreed! it needs to be done give him the 10 million ffs, hes got to have something up his sleeve though? if all of us can see it why cant he? im going to be patient this year but if there is nothing by this time next year he can expect a huge backlash off people

To me it seems that they don't want to have the debt a equity until we go up. If it goes tits up it remains a debt.

They give sam a good written offer 3 weeks ago,but hes not replied,i dont think sam wants to do deal myself,hes hoping we get promoted so he ll get more money out of club.

This is obviously a very complex deal to sort out, Sam seems like he doesn't want to let go, possible because he wants to still be attached to the club when we gain promotion whatever the reason I'm sure VT will make Sam an offer he cant refuse

All I will say is there are two alpha males and no one wants to be seen to give an inch, in my eyes giving some leeway is often seen as a strength not a weakness.

It would appear the sum of fifteen million is agreed on by all involved, ten and five for promotion, there just seems to be this massive yet minute stumbling block of how it's paid, lot's of offers eight million then three twos, nine and two threes,
it is so frustrating, but it is as if the last compromise or whatever it is, sometimes seems a million miles away.

To be honest, in my simple mind, if VT offered the ten in one lump and then five on promotion, then the pressure would be on Sam to deal or really be seen to be moving goal posts.

am i being silly but!! if vt doesnt swap debt to equity he will lose out big time as unsecured loans dont have priority if club goes into admin or worse! sam is in same boat except his is a dingy compared to the liner vt has! doesnt matter how much vt loans us its still his money hes useing and no garauntee of getting anything back unless he owns club!! which can only be done if he swaps debt to equity! presume this is correct??

if the club went into admin unsecured debtors still have voting rights and those votes could be important in the club securing a CVA agreement.
Sams problem here is that if that happened the malaysians have a much bigger unsecured debt which would still give them the upper hand with the voting making sam potentially having to go along with whatever they decided.
