Protest cancelled

Thu Aug 16, 2012 2:41 pm

http://keepcardiffblue.co.uk/wp/?p=127

We received advice from the local police last night that the club has banned any protest at all from their land and anybody doing so will be moved on.

In the light of this and the previous threats of violence against protesters from prominent supporters of the club's rebrand we feel duty bound to cancel the planned protest scheduled for 6:45pm outside the main entrance to the stadium.

We urge all those who care about the club's identity and believe it is more important than the whims of one man to make their views known tomorrow night

Keep Cardiff Blue

Sense at last!

I've not seen a single threat made to any KCB but have been on the receiving end of them myself as well as other posters on here who are willing to accept or go Red. All seems a bit suspicious and fictitious to me as I've seen no evidence of it at all.

On that note, what about all the people who by wearing red or suggesting that they will do so have received threats of violence from KCB and its followers???? I think you need to get your facts right with your views on the re-branding and offer all of us who are willing to accept the change one massive apology for the anxiety and stress you have caused us, particularly those of us with Children who were concerned for our safety when going to games and supporting our club!!!

Silencing a particular group is always a bad idea.

It should and will make them very angry and more determined to get themselves heared in a country which is famous for its free speech.

Meaning what, sit in the pub with the KCB chairman watching the game that dont fit well to start with tbh so we wave a blue card round while singing blue army, & bluebird song while in your blue shirt, these things will go ahead anyway plus we will have most of the stadium in blue i figure, is this what make your views known means :?: Anything that spills on top the pitch will be stupid. The only way to hit tan is not buy f**k all red or buy anything in the ground so it affects the money going in but again thats people personal preference :ayatollah:

That would be a great way of showing the players and Malky we are behind them. Whatever your opiniuon on red or blue, any protest should NEVER be inside the ground.

i like shit in my mouth

Just hope we smash in a few goals tomorrow and get a good result, give everyone the feel good factor. That's all I care about.

Can't wait to see a few kids holding up pieces of paper scattered around the ground, it's going to be hilarious. :ayatollah:

Not sure I like this.

I disagree with protesting inside the ground.

but BANNING anyone who does?

Sets a bad precedent in my eyes

This isnt Burma

So the Club ban a PEACEFUL protest and do nothing after the shocking events at the Muni. No need to comment further.
