Do you think im being unrealistic in saying that we will drop no more than 4 points at home this season? If we want promotion automatically then that is what we must be looking at surely. :ayatollah:

If we take 55 to 57 points at home I would be really happy out of the 69 avaiabke then get half the points away from home available we will be near 90'points and such be up I think dropping just 4 points would be out of reach for us

The last 4 seasons at home:

08/09 - 47 points at home.
09/10 - 42 pts
10/11 - 43 pts
11/12 - 40 pts

I think if we get around the same mark this season (40-45) we would have done well.

Yeah, realistically you need to look to win your home games and draw your away games. Obviously, this isn't a set formula and there are exceptions but it is a good basis to use. Or we can just go out and look to win every f*cking game! :ayatollah:

aiming for 65 points at home is very unrealistic.

anything close to 50 is good.

We can f*cking do this! Last season was a strange one as the players were better playing away....this season it will be a fortress again at home, atmosphere or no atmosphere, quality tells.

Yes you're be unrealistic and too ambitious. If we are to have any hope of making the top two this season then there's no doubt we need to improve our home form from last season. We conceeded far too many at home last season and we weren't exactly prolific either. A more realistic total would be 15 wins out of 23, we need to make the CCS a fortress.

Last season: Won 11 Drew 7 Lost 5
We gave away a lot of late goals and dropped points.

If we are after automatic promotion then 52 points at home is a realistic target, the equivalent of 16 wins and 4 draws from 23, that will leave us needing the equivalent of 12 away wins and 3 draws from 23 to get 39 points that would give us 91points.

So its 3 losses at home or 9 points and 8 losses away or 24 points.

Or the equivalent of roughly 2 points per game.
