I may be wrong but I think a good few of the kids used last night were local to the area and worked their way through the academy.Good signs of long term planning and it can only get better with the improvements made to the structure of the academy.

I think it also gives the current academy kids a good incentive. Under Jones the academy kids never really felt like they were going to be given a chance, even if they made it. Under Mackay, that's different. I'm not saying any of the talent is any good but at least this gives them a confidence boost and can only help.

well last year we tried route one, this year we are going route 2. maybe in nov, we are playing a team that got 5 injuries from the capital 1 5th round , or whatever
