about time our club supported us fans as we support them mcl

i am totally at a loss why our club lets other clubs take the piss ......take our friendly with oxford for example .....its pay on the day at £16 ..why as forest green and bournemouth and cheltenham only charge us £10...then today i go down to get my brighton tickets ......they have split us up into 2 areas .....priced at £28 and £34 .....they give us less £28 seats and more £34 seats..... today at 10am there are no £28 seats left .....i dont blame the girls in the ticket office as they can only sell what there given.....why were we not given our total allocation in the £28 seats ......also its time we charged visiting fans who come to cardiff city football club the same prices as we have to pay to visit there stadiums .......imo these clubs are trying to out price away fans of certain clubs ....leeds last year £37 west ham £30something and so on .....its time our club/leaders got together to sort this out .....with the price of travel and ticket nearing £60 per away trip plus food drink programme etc its nearing £100+ everytime .....its becoming a joke ...someone must take responsability and stand up for us fans

i agree with the o/p. it is costing us more and more to travel to certain games.
a couple of seasons ago i would take at least 1 if not both of my boys with me to each away game i attended. with the current cost going up for some games again this season i will have to pick and choose which 1's i attend let alone take my boys to

I can't remember the full rule on this but it is something like away fans have to be charged the same as home fans would for those particular seats.

May be Brighton have found a way around this by splitting the away support, but providing they are charging the same as they would to home fans then there is little that can be done.

well lets put the brighton fans in the premier seating area and see how they react to that

It is getting ridiculous and I can't afford many games. So usually 7 or 8 is the most all season I can do with a few home games thrown in which is even further

We hardly get any away fans as it is, losing more would just mean less income.

Your post is coming across as blaming CCFC, when its not their fault (although other clubs do charge too much)......simple rule of thumb, if you cant afford it, dont go.

The way it's going I'll only be able to make 2 or 3 away games this season instead of 7 or 8, the budget just won't allow it anymore. I can see a time when I'll no longer be able to afford any away games.

Leeds last season should've been boycotted, but if hundreds and sometimes thousands continue to pay inflated prices and get messed about by the local police then these clubs will continue to charge these prices.

well where do we start ...every away game there in talks with police and the club we are visiting regarding allocation and policing and stewarding and they should get involved in pricing ...using what we charge there fans as a guide to what we should except as fair charges ....from your comments i assume your not bothered what clubs charge us as maybe it dont effect you as you dont travel much to support your team ....imo if your not an away traveller your oppinion dont count ...if ive assumed wrong then except my appologies ..if i havnt get off your high horse and support your fellow bluebirds

Apology accepted, our club have no control over other clubs pricing. Do i think its fair NO but if people are willing to keep going then what do you expect, its the fans that have the power, we stop buying them they lower the prices eventually.......by continually going the away supporter accepts the prices.
