great to see youth been given a chance last night but one thing for sure in my mind at this stage ( and only time will tell) that we don't have another Ramsey , Gunter or Adams amongst them who were all around the same age when they made their debuts maybe even younger slightly
I do like Declan John as a player as he can make things happen but for the others I do feel they have a lot of development ahead to come up to the standards of some of the earlier crop from the academy.
I do know that this maybe a bit unfair as so many youngster where on the pitch at the same time and this did not happen to Ramsey etc but just from there first touch and passing i don't really see the same level of what we had in the past

I think kids come on at ages.Look at Mason.I don't think anyone forsaw the contribution he would make last season.Personally I can't wait to see Kadeem Harris get his turn.

Players (as people in general can develop, improve etc over time), but one thing they can never seem to develop is control and a first touch on the ball.
Earnie seems no better now than when he first started, his problem now is that he has lost the pace to recover the ball.
McNaughton still cannot pass or cross a ball, again this has not improved and probably never will.
You either have it or you don't.
If they cannot do it now then they never will I fear.
