The issues First group have had with their other lines are well known

I haven't used Arriva.

Seriously though I use First Capital Connect a lot to buzz around London & always on time. I'm a stickler for time so believe me I'd be pissed off if it was a bad service. Others may disagree but can only speak on my own experiences obviously.

The First share price had also risen by around 20% in the lead up to the announcement. I read the difference in bids was £700 million, pennies!!!

FGW Have bid way to much the cost of which will come from hard pressed passengers and the tax payer when they dump the bid as thiers no way tthier going to afford the bid
