Download Free eBooks - any recommended websites?

I've just brought myself a Kindle and was wondering whether there are any websites out there that anybody would recommend for downloading free eBooks. My friend showed me how to use Demonoid, which seemed perfect. That site has since been taken down and sod paying for books when there's bound to be an alternative out there somewhere. Any recommendations???

It's not pirated books, but books that are temporarily free on Amazon for promotional reasons. Not brilliant, but the occaisional intersting one turns up.

Just google the book you want, like `iceman torrent download`, i usually find what i want that way..
