Sorry i meant ?

Desrves a decent one.
Mon Aug 13, 2012 9:04 pm
I hope he gets a good one.
He did our club a lot of good over the time he was here.
We certainly wouldn't have the Malaysians here if he hadn't managed to raise the club's profile through Wembley appearances and promotion charges on limited budgets.

A warm applause from me, very good manager who I rate highly.

He set us on our path but predictably it'll be boos etc

I don't think he will, I have faith. It clear to see we improved year on year with him.

I'll applaud him, just look at where we were when he first came here, a struggling club in a weak second tier. He took us to three Wembley appearances and two playoffs on a pretty tight budget, being clever in the transfer market. He brought some excellent players in such as Whitts, Jay, Chops, McCormack, McPhail, Loovens. However he also attracted some stinkers...

i dont think we will see him the temptation to play another round of golf down the vale will be to much for him and his assistant will be at the game instead.

Before and after the match a good one which is what he deserves - during the 90 minutes as much flack as you like; he's an opposition manager now.
Mon Aug 13, 2012 9:17 pm
I'l be clapping a hell of a lot, the man deserves freedom of the city, he's a much better manager than that stubborn feckless Scot we have now.
Mon Aug 13, 2012 9:22 pm
I think the majority will applaud. He wasn't perfect or everyone's cup of tea but you'd have to be very biased or silly to deny he did do a lot of good for the club. He had to go in the end but he did help evolve our team from Championship strugglers to Premiership chasers.

He'll get a good well deserved reception. Why does anyone think he'll get booed? Pathetic
Bluebird Since 1948. Another imbecile troll on a wind-up as funny as Alzheimer's

What's wrong with him playing golf, I've never understood this obsession?

Some "Fans" think that unless the manager is spending every breath on the football club they are a failure, most of these "fans" tend not to go to games but snipe from afar aka PLASTICS.

Big applause from me. Gave me the best years as a City fan, just couldn't get us over the line
Mon Aug 13, 2012 10:11 pm
A massive cheer and applause from me. Anyone who doesn't think DJ is not a top class manager is deluded and to slate him because he enjoyed a game of golf at the vale?! Have a word with yourselves, the man did a hell of alot for our football club and deserves respect for that! Which I'm sure he'll get by the majority.

If it wasn't for him we wouldn't be this close to getting to the 'Promise Land' he spent 6 years and his commitment to us was fantastic. He built us each year.. he brought us to where we are now. Kind of like Martinez what he done for Swansea.

I love 1948 he is class

Jonesey deserves a standing ovation. The record books will show that he is our most successful manager since Jimmy Scoular, who I remember well. Jimmy got us to 3rd in Div 2 in 70/71, Dave Jones got us to 4th in the Championship (the modern day equivalent) in 2009/10, and 2010/11. DJ was not everybody's cup of tea, I know, but he did a great job at the City.

Completely agree, he deserves a standing ovation, maybe we should chant him to do the ayatollah aswell
Mon Aug 13, 2012 11:22 pm
I will applaud him and he rightly deserves one! He turned unknown players into international players and of course got us 2 wembley!

because it was well known he spent most of his time on the golf course while terry burton took training. It was a criticism levelled at him by craig in his season here. Prior to the fateful middlesboro game the players had 4 consecutive days off whilst he hit the vale every day
