i know lots of decent people who have not come to terms with the rebrand and dave is amongst them.
This board advertises the fact that "all opinions are welcome". Well dave is entitled to his without suffering personal attacks by members of this forum because of them.

It's hardly vitriol. He's obviously passionate about his football clubs like yourself. The only difference to you is that he can't accept the rebrand and feels like he can't watch the club in red and with a beer mat badge and is struggling to understand the reasons for the rebrand as many of us are. Everybody is entitled to their opinion of the rebrand and the people involved in it, especially as it was initially linked to us becoming debt free and paying off historic creditors, which to date has not happened.

Although not everyone will agree with TLGs comments about the rebrand there are just as many who have said that his posts have been spot on. I have always found his posts to be well written and he always manages to articulate his points rather than just slag the club off. Also remember that most fans still love the club and you will find that it is VT and some of his acolytes that are being slagged off and not the club in general.TLG has got as much right to his opinion as you so accept it and move on.

My views on the ridiculous re-brand have been well documented. As far as I'm concerned, what was a proud football club not so long ago has developed into a circus in recent months and almost everybody associated with it seems to have lost a grip on reality. Whether it be red and black kits, dragon emblems, players earning obscene amounts of money by Championship standards, owners who are clearly clueless about professional football, ceremonies to re-open a stadium that never closed, fireworks displays and dancing oriental dragons, adverts for products you can't even buy on this continent never mind in this country and supporters who are seemingly happy to gladly suck up any rubbish the club throws at them simply because the major shareholder is a rich man, the whole thing has become a farce and I want no part of it.

Apparently, Cardiff City Football Club is now being marketed to appeal to an audience of TV viewers in the Far East who have never even heard of it, let alone supported it. Meanwhile, the views of the local fanbase are largely irrelevant. Call me selfish, but I'd quite like the club to be shaped so that it appeals to those of us who have supported it all of our lives, but that's not going to happen any time soon. Emperor Tan his minions have clearly demonstrated they are content to ignore the supporters and trample on the club’s traditions in their quest for imaginary Asian revenue. Consequently, they will not be getting another penny from me.

The club now views people like you as consumers they can take for granted and you play the role to perfection as you offer the latest regime your unconditional support, just as you offered all the previous regimes your unconditional support. You state that you do not want the team to play in red and yet you're not even prepared to voice any objections about the situation, let alone raise any kind of genuine protests. Totally agree, i,ve had a couple of heated discussions with him on mikes board about the re-brand, but i have to be honest and say that i will miss his blogs on the city games etc, he his a top writer and knows how to put a story out to the masses, but virtually every day he bangs on about the re-branding, he should give it a rest.
