So has anyone in the BLUE corner mellowed?????

Towards the rebranding? I didnt go to the Toon game and am away for Fridays game, so wont get the Red experience for a few weeks yet. I am a staunch Blue, always will be, and hate selling out to the business demands of modern sport and its obsession with success etc etc , and have been very vocal and defensive of our heritage during this turbulent summer. But, I have to admit i am calming down, now I am seeing our very pleasing transfer recruits and more to come, also my wife is fed up of me going on and on about it, I think my mates are too!!

So I have reached the point where I just want football, Cardiff City playing their hearts out, us fans singing our hearts out. Forget the squabbling but respect each others beliefs and opinions, all the moaning and fire I have spitted will never change anything. i am grateful to the Malaysians investment at the end of the day. Will always hate the red and the beermat though.

My question is to my fellow BLUEbirds (particularly those who went to to Toon game and experienced Red) are you mellowing and moving on? Keep Cardiff Blue in your heart though.

I would still prefer us to be playing in blue at home, but have to say the red kit looks a whole lot better on the players than it does in the shop and photos.

There is a small part of me that will support us if we played in Bacofoil, but this rebrand has broken my Blue heart. And seeing that awful beermat on my stadium makes me want to puke, I will never forget that the Malaysians did a contradictory, non-negotiable U-turn on us all, and If I could change it to the way it was I would but I can't , gotta move with this or get left behind. I love this club so much, so will TRY my best to move with the changes.

Its tough to accept for sure - I have been going to the city since 1972; had a bit of a break in the late 90s early 2000s when three young kids meant I couldn't afford it, but could never imagine us ever playing in anything except blue. I am not in favour in the changing of the badge in particular, it looks especially shocking on the blue shirt imo, but I want my club to survive. I don't necessarily care if we make it to the prem or not, but where would we be without Vincent Tans money now? Liquidated by HMRC as they were after us big time and we had no means of paying.

Badge is and always will be an abomination.

Will still wear my 70s Blue Scarf.

Will not purchase anything red at club shop or a programme or refreshments at stadium as my own little rebellion.

When you see someone in the new shirt it just looks like a Wales shirt , a Cardiff City shirt don`t think so.

It was a bit strange Saturday, blue seats everywhere and us in Red ,
Maybe more and more will eventually get used to it

I have but still hate the red thing. when you really think about with taking a step back all the name calling on here or shit we have all been talking about hits home theres only one thing and its the same outcome which is we as fans can do nothing about it this season with the colour because thats what we are going with so all we can do is support the team even if we are killing inside over this shitty colour and joke shop badge. I just hope the club listen to the trust or whoever there going to talk to over the season about changing it and this debt gets sorted sooner rather than later or i fear everyone will turn on the club if the latter is not sorted because thats what we want most as fans out of all of this

This whole business has hurt tbh. I'm disillusioned with the club, will NEVER trust the Malaysians after their u-turn....yet still want us to win every game we play...I bleed blue and always will , the thing is, to say you bleed blue has always been synonymous with being a staunch City fan, the colour being a huge part of the very fabric of the club...its always been about the colour for me..I hate the new badge but its the colour change thats really hit me.

I'm giving this season a go, been a season ticket holder for years and I hope upon hope that my passion will still be there when the team walk out onto the pitch Friday!

I dont like red but a lot of the fans at the toon game wore the new home kit. Whether thats because the away kit isn't on sale, I don't know but throughout the game I thought that the red could possibly a good way forward for the club. I dont.'t like it but I'll accept it.

Yes fully agree that it has been part of the badge and for welsh people I suppose that is important and can fully understand that, but personally for the last 46 years, I have been a bluebird, and that is what I want back and is very important to me. I'll be there long after they have gone tho and the bluebird WILL be back I am sure.

Same as me there mate .I am trying v hard to except but it is hard and to be honest I dont no if I ever can except it and VT well I hate the little man.

I have also let my tickets go to someone else for fridays game due to other commitments and to be honest I dont care if I miss it and that is just not me at all.I dont even no who we have after that and its all because of the re brand I want to like it but it all goes to deep that I hate it.What can I do because I love the city I think I just love em a bit to much .

I have my season tickets but for the first time ever I dont want em it would kill me to see em not in blue and the badge is just a joke .People say its still Cardiff City though but it isnt is it no where near for me.
