Looking at our great squad we are still short in some departments, mainly defence...a few people have suggested three players will sign before the deadline, which usually means not loans, because we can sign them later...then I seen Terry Phillips saying something about players possibly arriving.....but I am only guessing...it makes sense that we get more cover but I am not in the know.

Yes it does, and its nice to have a chat about possible players coming or going...I have heard from a few people though that more signings are imminent but it may take time...on Friday night I managed to have a chat with a couple of old mates and three players were hinted at...no names though....can we all guess three players that would be good for the club...be realistic though....don't put Messi , Tevez and Ronaldo

Difficult to see where we could fit players in at the moment. The first XI looks pretty solid as Marshall, Kev, Husdon, Turner, Taylor, Bellamy, Whitts, Kimbo, Gunner, Mutch and helguson. Pretty good cover in Cowie, Conway, Lewis, Ralls, Mason, Velikonja, Blake, Keinan etc... I'd like to see one or 2 more full backs in. Real competition for Kev and cover for Taylor. I did want a goalscoring striker, but if we are only going to play 1 up front then Helguson and Velikonja can do the job with more goals coming from midfield. Maynard would be superb mind.

If there's one position we need to strengthen for starting 11 it is at Right Back! We all love Kev but if we are going to challenge for promotion we need to get a class right back in!

What about naughton from spurs. kyle isi??..use to play for sheff united???? Always liked him

Could be a little confusing for the commentators having a Naughton and a McNaughton in the back 4.

the strange thing is is the one thats been desribed as a "first 11" player...sounds to me that whoever it is has been guaranteed that he plays ,thats the only way this owen thing would be .

They both play RB so i would imagine only one of them wud play..but yeah get wa your saying haha
