Bad Bad Bad News

Sun Aug 12, 2012 11:46 am

I have heard from an impeccable source that VT has added the costs of the fireworks used on Friday night to our ever increasing and spiralling debt. Also to make matters worse, one whole box of fireworks was unused and because no sale or return was negotiated we are now left with a box of fireworks that is unlikely to feature again this season and will have absolutely no resale value because when purchased they were close to their sell by date :D

Very surprised we haven't add a similar post from the Vincent Tan is evil and out to screw us brigade yet :? All who seem to conveniently forget exactly where we were when VT and TG came on board and saved us from possible liquidation.

The Club was costantly in court fighting off winding up petitions from HMRC

Local traders were owed tens of thousands of pounds.

Peter Ridsdale had conned us all (Allegedly ;) ) with the golden ticket scam

Remember the St Mirren Chairman popping up on SKY the day we got Bellamy on loan telling everyone who would listen we still owed money for the transfer of Paul Quinn.

Contrast that with where we are now and i think the signing of Bellamy and the players we have signed to date suggests the Malaysians have a plan and are in it for the long haul. Of course this is only my personal opinion and of course they could pull out, but if they do i can't see how they can possibly recoup the money they have invested todate?

Even if they did pull out would we be any worse off than we were before they arrived because the likely outcome would be liquidation which is exactly the likely scenario before they arrived.

Instead we have another shot at getting to the next level and by that i don't just mean getting to the Premiership and staying there for a Season or two before relegation. I am talking about establishing Cardiff City has one of the top 10 or 12 sides in the Country after all we are the CAPITAL CITY of Wales and getting to and establishing ourselves at the very top level would have huge benifits for the City and the South East of Wales.

Will it happen this time around i don't know we all know that this is the most difficult Division to get out of but i think we are almost ready to have a really good go at it and with a couple of additions i think we could have a right go at the automatic places.

Finally before i get accused of being in the Red camp and pushing VT's agenda for the record has i have stated many times before i personally hate the changes and will peacefully push to get our shirts changed to Blue and the badge back for next season.

However i don't want this to be another Blue v Red debate i want it to be about the optimisim that i feel has the season approaches i am gutted because i will be in Rhodes for the Huddersfield game but i will be finding a pub showing the game and cheering the boys on from afar.

So whoever goes and whether you are Red, Blue or not bothered remember we are CARDIFF CITY fans and if we all pull together we could be in for a very special season :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
