New Players Performances

Velikonja looked class today, his movement and runs top notch and a goal on his home debut is every strikers dream.
Mutch very promising, passed the ball brilliantly and his movement and work rate were second to none.
Helguson didn't impress me much but was only on the field about half an hour although his aerial ability looked decent.
Lewis in goal didn't put a foot wrong when he came on making 2 fantastic saves.
Also great performances from Whitts, Gunnar, Kiss (had a stormer) and Conway and the defence was solid too!
Overall what a game today and a great result, that performance shows we are good enough to beat a top 5 premiership side even though a weaker team was fielded. If we can do that against players like Coloccini, Taylor, Simpson, Krul, Ameobi, Tiote, Guitierez etc imagine what we can do against the other championship sides.

I was a huge DJ fan but he built a team rather than a club. As a club we now have a squad and a strong u21 team to use.
