I'm talking years ago mate, around 1995 I think. Always remember it was noel who sung wonderwall although he played the first line and the crowd sung the rest! Liam came on after to do Live Forever and for me it stole the show.

Seen em 7 times.

Around 95/96 in the CIA was NOT happy

Paid 5 times face value and then they only done half hour cos
Lian was "ill". Went outside and hes in Jurys window having a sing song with the crowd outside
Not happy.

Still a massive pull though. My maye / bro in law sold him a jacket from his label Weekend Offender tbe other day. He wore it on stage at a gig and within days they had sold out if the jacket.

Liam left stage at one point and Noel, did a few numbers. I can remember thinking why do they bother with Liam, but then he returned to sing Live Forever and I thought "that's why"! Funny as some people really can't sing that well in the pure sense of the word yet their voice perfectly suits certain style of songs. Must be the attitude or something. Liam wouldn't win xfactor yet can't imagine many singing some of the oasis classics better then him.

They got lazy or Bored.

SUPERSONIC.
Welcome to Oasis - Manc as fuk.

Some of their shows were unforgatable.

Its like they were Real Madrid - with no Barcelona to challenge.
Is it sad - fuk nows

There r people who lead and people that follow.

Is it....
They Could Have Had it All

Or

They Had it All?

Don't have the answer - love the music - still unsure whether they are Super Cool or Super Cunts!

Either way - they made a mark

Yeah that's quality. Forgot how much I liked this song and the whole thread has brought me back a bit. Music always evokes strong memories. I'll be giving oasis a good airing tomorrow :ayatollah:

The horrible moment when you realise a right bunch of wankers like a band that you love :x

Re: Oasis

Seen them maybe 7 times. Saw them for the first time at lansdown rd in Dublin. Liam went on a bender in Dublin as I think he just split with patsy. He spent the whole gig sat down. Was gutted. However gigs at the c.i.a and wembley fixed that up!!

Something about a combination of sunshine, beer, oasis, drugs, clothes, and football that just goes hand in hand
