one more day to go at the London 2012 Olympics, in my opinion the games were good, from what we could see on the box.
likes:
-no terrorist attacks
-facilities looked good
-full arenas, exp. in athletics
-extremely good athletes
dislikes:
-timekeepers, referees, scorekeepers, officials etc
jeez never seen so many scandalous decisions, no matter in boxing, athletics, fencing... this needs to be sorted out asap. many of these athletes are amateurs who train 4 years to participate at the Olympics, to get robbed by some poxy officials
-some crowds
its ok to be patriotic and to support your athlete, but some went OTT and behaved in a chauvinist way, and only clapped and cheered their own. its not football, and I have the highest respect for ANY athlete competing there, as it was my life's ambition to be part of an Olympic event (winter olympics tho). every athlete, regardless of nationality, deserves cheers and support from the crowd to spur them on to their best performances...
