I love the geordie fans and their accents. Fair play to them bringing such great support (and numbers down) for just a pre-season friendly.

Yes fantastic old fashioned proper football crazy fans, he thought we looked really good and was going to be looking forward to playing us next season, his words not mine !!!!

I was really impressed with the team play in the first half, some great passing and movement for the goals. It did go a bit stale when Gun and Mut came off. Whits, cowie and kiss were all a bit too similar, but after 20 mins we got better.

I cant believe we still have Bellars and KimBo still to come in, we are going to have some great passers with pace and forwards that can hold the ball up

Lewis made 2 good saves aswell when he came on

I can't see it, didn't Malky rate Marshall as one of the top three keepers in the Championship last season. Lewis is clearly as very good GK but I think Marshall still warrants being our no. 1.

I personally don't think Marshall would have got down quick enough to save the first one, but time will tell Nd it's nice that he still has good competition.
