I realised -my worries were OTT

Fair play to you. It's not for me personally but I will be back when the blue shirt is back.

I am tempted to give it a try on a one off match to see whether I still feel as strongly when I am actually there watching the game. The thing that puts me off currently is the potential animosity between red and blue. I don't think I'll give it a try until it has been established that there isn't any chance of being abused for being on one side of the argument or the other. I think it will be really damaging to the match day atmosphere if there are problems.
