For this season and got rid of a lot of dead wood and a bad apple Gerrard
Where do you honestly believe we will finish in the league come May 2012 ?
After what has happened to our club, nothing less than top 2 will do me.
I believe if we strengthen in January for the first time, then we will finish top 2
I still believe we need a couple more players now, for a strong squad, but that is up to Malky and the board.
I don't accept the stripping of our clubs identity, but I support our payers on the pitch, they are playing for us.

Playoffs i think annis as we stand with 2-3 more we could be in the top two. last season made no sence at all with trying to go up even though we was in such a good position it was like as if we didnt try to go up squad wise but i went over that ground many times last season with my own threads and got bummed for it so thats in the past now. I will be behind the players in the ground come whistle time this season like everybody else should be, lets hope we go up and get this badge/colour back but most of all see this debt settled or i predict a riot if neither is delivered come this time next season

i think we are still weak in defence and i hope mcnaughton gets back to his best this season because last year he was poor, with bellamy singing it will give teams a bigger incentive to turn us over because when he was with us last time certain teams and players upped there game, city look strong in midfield and now we have strong cover coming off the bench,as for the forwards just hope bellamy stays fit and the new signing can become the 20 plus goal a season man we desperately needed last season

Trouble is we been on the old january thing for two season so far and nothing happened even though we been so close near the top when its come around so what makes you think this season is any diffrent

I think play-offs should be the minimum acheivement this season.
January will be important. Vt has shown this summer that he has been as good as his word as far as investing in the team is concerned.
If for any reason we don't invest in January no doubt we will see the same critcism on here of Malky not being backed. Surely there can be no doubt that he is being backed.
If we don't strengthen in January we will need to be asking questions of the manager as well.

Annis I have great reservations about our defence. Malky seems to have Marshall as his preferred keeper but he is poor at commanding his area. Fails at crosses and corners. Back 5 fails to keep clean sheets and there always appears to be a goal a game mistake in us.
To be fair Malky and his team must know this as stats are regularly used in training (or I hope so) so he knows options must be in his mind for defence.
We have the fire power up front but strengthening in defence is a must. If that happens top two for me easy

My mentality is that I support a team at the moment, not a club. I support 11 players and the gaffa for 90 mins once or twice a week.
Failure is not acceptable in anyway shape or form, if we did fail with promotion then id demand that the langston debt should be cleared and then debt to equity completed to ensure a strong footing for future campaigns, at the very minimum. I should want it all really but if none of these above happens then ill just be well and truly fed up (for a while).

Will always want to be blue, but the red shirt looks a lot better than I thought when you see it being worn. Top 6 dfor sure, but still defensivley a bit short for top 2 I think. There are still errors in that back 4.

Over the past few seasons we have consistently been in the top third of the table so I would not expect us to do any worse. With so many new additons it is difficult to predict how they will all gel and interact with each other as a team.I would say however that Malky has more options this year which is never a bad thing.

We are 3 defenders short, if Darcy goes we will be 4 defenders short. If we don't sort our defence out and sign at least 3 new defenders, it will be playoffs at best again and we will fail to go up.

AUTOMATIC PROMOTION!
All the squad needs is defensive cover and I think it's ready to give us glory

Annis, we still need another centre half and cover for full back but thesquad is shaping up nicely.

Top 2 or we won't have a club to support next season. It really is that simple !!

Couple more to come yet, sit tight and enjoy the ride.
The premier League teams haven't submitted their squads of 25 yet, so a bit of juggling and plans in the pipeline.
