Does anyone know if this is true..?

The Olympic size pool in Cardiff Bay isn't actually Olympic size because they didn't measure the depth of the tiles properly!!! :lol:

I'm a member of the gym there and was told this earlier on!!!! :lol:

dont be silly :D stupid council decided to have leasure pool instead of olympic size one! hence they have one down west! well need one that size so they can all have bath together to save water!! :lol:

sorry I may have been mistaken by the pool then as it was clearly stated 'Olympic pool' so have you heard a similar story about the swansea pool then..?

It's the one in Swansea that is not Olympic size.

You need ten lanes for an Olympic pool. Swanseas was only built wide enough for 8 lanes.

think we are revering to lenght! 50mtr is olympic size for training perposes doesnt matter about width :D
