PEOPLE BUYING RED SHIRTS

Fri Aug 10, 2012 4:55 pm

I seriously think quite a few people who don't normally buy or wear club shirts, will buy the Red one has a bit of club solidarity and it may work for the benefit of the club rather than hit them in the pocket as many loyal city supporters in the KCB would hope for. :ayatollah:

I hate it, as you may have guessed. But its peoples/fans choice what they buy and wear, I hope other fans dont take the opportunity to abuse those wearing red. I will be buying the red kit. I support Cardiff City end of.

In my opinion VT is the best thing that has ever happened to Cardiff City. When VT eventually shafts Sam and then turns his debt to equity I will be smiling thinking of all the doom and gloom merchants on this MB.

So let get this right, people who don't normally buy a club shirt are more likely to buy a red one. Is this the same logic as when you quoted some fans preparing to burn the Thai flag.

If you have honestly bought a red shirt just because KCB are actually showing some backbone and standing up for what they believe in by trying to salvage the tradition, local pride, heritage, history and identity of our club, you are pathetic.

TG said we would stay blue this season, we haven't.

VT said he would pay off Langston and convert the debt into equity, he hasn't.

VT promised us a 100 million pounds war chest this season, he hasn't given us this.

I am not a "doom and gloom merchant". I am a realist who deals with the facts. I care about my local club and don't live in a dreamland. I wonder if you'll still think VT is the best thing to happen to our club after he gets fed up of having fun with us and shafts us, leaving us with the millions of debt he has taken out from his time here? I do not trust this ruthless dictator, he has given no justifiable reason for turning us red and changing our identity, he has already gone back on some of his promises, and this is just the start! Bellamy signing is great, but we have probably taken out more loans to pay for him to come and I fear these are loans we will be unable to pay back in the future.

The last I heard VT has invested just 6 million with all other costs being covered by loans with a 7% interest. Has VT started paying off the loans he's been taking out then? If so at least he's showing commitment. Still VT just needed to pay an extra million to pay off Langston, but he didn't. A man of VT's wealth refusing to cough up an extra million to turn our debt into equity leaves me very sceptical to say the least.

I know, but you'd think with the length of time they've been negotiating, VT would have paid Langston off by now if he REALLY wanted to convert our debt into equity. It doesn't seem Langston are being overly unreasonable to me anyway. I believe they've asked for 10 million up front and another 5 million if we get promoted. VT offered 9 and that was his final offer to Langston. That's what I've read anyway although of course this could be wrong. I can see VT finding a way to completely screw Langston further down the line and that's probably why he hasn't paid Langston off, but to me this is a worry as in the meantime VT is just going to continue taking out more loans which will increase our already mammouth debt.
