Glad about that, take some pressure off Bellars who may not play every game. His presence on the pitch should be enough.

Dissapointed about this. Bellamy is a born leader on the pitch (I thought Huds could have still been Club Captain).

Bellamy can be influential without being captain.. we all know he wont be quiet on the pitch, captain or not...

Bellamy will act like captain anyway from the front.
I've always been a firm believer a captains job is more off the pitch.
