I think we need 3 defenders

Quinn, Blake and Gerard....out three in to replace those....pity Ben Nugent is not quite ready, he is a good young player and massive for his age...hopefully a star of the near future for City....anyone got players in mind that Malky may go for?

I think we will get a right back in who can play center back and that nugent could feature this season I think corky he looks like a good youngster only 1st team outings will make or break him.

Agree with three, but could Dekel Keinan do a job? Also, if Liam Lawrence does come back, think we could be looking for just one other player. Still worried with our striking options at the moment. Rumours yesterday that that was being resolved, & i don't mean CB either.

We have struggled in that department the last few years - sloppy defending have cost us.
Would have thought we would have strengthened that department this season with 2 or 3 defenders

Teams get promoted by keeping clean sheets,sadly we don't keep clean sheets.Malky was a defender,i'd be surprised if he doesn't get a few quality ones in,particularly with a bit of pace.

Definitely need at least 2 quality defenders one being a CB with pace and the other a defender who can play anywhere across the back 4 a bit like.............. Darcy Blake

Naylor also gone remember. Seeing as Keinan has been frozen out completely by MM, and assuming Blake is leaving then we have lost all our defensive cover.
