MUTCH TO MAKE HIS DEBUT

Thu Aug 09, 2012 8:44 am

JORDON Mutch, Cardiff City’s £2m midfield summer signing, will make his debut in Saturday’s pre-season friendly against Newcastle.

Mutch has recovered from the hip problem which has kept him out of four Bluebirds pre-season matches so far and is ready for action.

“Jordon and Aron Gunnarsson will be available on Saturday and will play,” said boss Malky Mackay.

“I will give them part of the game.”

The clash with Newcastle is City’s final outing before their league cup tie at Northampton next Tuesday.

“I am delighted with fitness levels among the players and pre-season has gone well,” said Mackay, who must wait a little more time for South Korean winger Kim Bo-kyung to join the squad.

Kim is still with his national team in the Olympic football tournament, but will leave the UK this weekend while City apply for his work permit.

It won't be, we already have it agreed, but he needs to be back in Asia in order to get it processed.

Just a formality mate. :ayatollah:
