Only seen him for 45 mins v Forest Green when he didn't get much supply of ball. How has he done in the other friendlies? What's everyone's early thoughts??

Some nice touches and movement but from the shots ive seen theres more power in a pack of AA pound shop batteries when hes shooting, he looks more like another version of that ferretti guy we had a few years ago, people will say give him a chance but i can not see him being anything so far out fo three games ive seen him play.

I wonder how Kenny Miller would have done playing alongside Helguson??

Its only the preseasons but having watched all of them hes done nothing to show that hes the answer to our striker issues.
A few nice touches but thats about it, hopefully he will come good but if he doesnt im going to give him 2 seasons before he goes on loan etc

I would like him to score before the Huddersfield to give him that extra confidence boost.

People writing him off before hes even played a competetive game

He only arrived in the country a week ago!
I'm happy to accept Malky's assessment of him for now - and in particular that he is a clever/intelligent player with good movement. That sounds like a recipe for success - especially with Helguson beside him to occupy the defenders.

Rudy's got a touch like a rapist though.
Velonikja seems to have a great touch and good movement. He's found himself in
some good positions. If he hadnt fluffed a few shots he'd have scored three or four.
So far, far more promising than Bambi
We shall see eh!

One good thing is you can practice finishing, but you cant practice being in the right place at the right time

Surely if the guy doesn't speak english we have to give him the first season as a freebie. Needs to learn the language and settle in before wee judge. That's why I think we are still one short up top

Miller would have been awesome with him.
Last year Miller played up front mainly by himself, shame we didnt keep Miller

I think he looks decent. Pacy, good touch and gets in the right places. He'll chip in with a few this season - just needs more time to adjust and get to form an understanding with the midfield about the kind of delivery he wants.
