Player wage demands!!

I was reading an article the other day regarding emanuel adebayor and his reluctants to move because he wanted the £4million transfer fee because of the loss in wages.

I've tried posting the link but don't know how to do it??

My question was that if you were a spurs fan would you still welcome adebayor with open arms if they accepted to pay his wage demands even though he oviously doesnt want to play for spurs unless he makes a killing of the club????

I don't blame a player for not wanting to take a drop in wages while under contract at another club.

Its the way it is now, I doubt we have more than 1 player who actually cares for city and supports them. Its just a job to the players. And when you make as much money for the club as each player does you deserve a relevent slice of it.

Just think how much a crap film star makes for 6 months filming!

It is going to be tough to sign any player whos not in the team at Man City.. Adam Johnson is a great player but dont see him leaving for any club.. the wages he is on must be stumbling block for any team like Liverpool.

All these ungrateful players. I'd be happy to play for minimum wage, malky sign me up

Most of Adebayors wages last season were being paid by Man City,when he was on loan at Tottenham.

i still think that if you wanted first team football £100,000 is still a lot of money to be on a week. i can understand that if he's contracted to a club on more money why would you want to move?? your a football player, wheres the desire to play football?? because he isn't going to get a sniff in man city
