Overrated and untested in this division, scored tonnes of penalties, was against the likes of Wycombe last season no wonder he got so many goals, very overrated

i kind of agree, no doubt he will score goals in this division but i think people are expecting him to score 50 league goals the way people rave about him

id be a bit worried if we paid that much for an unproven striker in this division, esp as all the experts think his all round game is actually gash.

Why do we need Rhodes when we've already got Mason? They're pretty similar types of player, Mason is more versitile though. I agree with some of the other posts though, Rhodes has never been a goal scorer at the level (granted he was a youngster @ Ipswich). Some people speak of Rhodes as if he's Messi.

thats the SKY TV effect for you, they can make soeone looks so huge with their constant rambings about them, look at henderson, they raved about swanseas football... allens going for 15mil, they mentioned ronaldo takes his free kick by hitting the valve, everyone goes on about it now, sky make people/things bigger than they are

Exactly, he wouldn't be the answer to scoring tonnes of goals in this division, he'd get 10 and that would be it for us, Blackburn signing Colin Kazim Richards too, I don't think he'll be as good as people make out

Also i will be having a small bet now to be top goalscorer in the championship - each way 1st 3 ( 16-1 ) and ( 4-1 ).

I'd take the risk at about 3.5 - 4 million but no more. He will certainlly be near the top of the goal charts.

He will tear hudson a new arse tonight with anything over the top thats my only worry if its wet and windy they try over the top balls, he will lose out center halfs with ease because hes much quicker

We all know he's untried above League One level BUT the way he creates space for himself is incredible. He's slight, smallish even and doesn't look like the athletic sort but he's a very, very intelligent player!

How you stop him scoring? - Stop the ball reaching him in the box. Prevent our midfield supplying the ball to him or crowd him out! Do what you like but basically, if you're not 'on it' for 90 minutes he'll be in there!

In this clip he scored the first two, The Owls then rattled in 4 (yes four at Hillsborough last season)! Then in the final minutes Jordan hit two more! Sorry about shite quality !
