Don't see why not. Would still be discrete when using it though.

I hope not, because the KCB may urge their ten supporters to all light one and wave it in unison for the SKY cameras. ;)

Yes they are. I've never had a problem with mine. Oh, sorry mate, misread it - thought it was "electronic tags". Beep. The feckers triggered again! Arse. :ayatollah:

The weed smell around the canton gives a pleasant change from the fart and stale beer smell I normally have to put up with.

I wouldn't have thought they are allowed. I don't know, just guessing like, but I'd think the rules would be "no smoking" without actually going in to detail. So it would cover anything you stick in your mouth and set fire to.

Another problem I can see is if one person has an electric one on the go, others would just see smoke and take that as an invite to light up their real fags. In any case it is an excuse for a steward to pick on you, so I don't fancy your chances. Like I said though I'm just guessing.

Out of interest, do these electric fags have any smell to them? Or are they completely odour free?

You don't set fire to them  ,they are electric. Didn't you see this in the news :D

False alarm: British police said Thursday that reports of suspicious activity on a bus, which set off a massive emergency response and forced the closure of a section of a major highway in central England, were unfounded.

The culprit? An electronic cigarette.

Armed police evacuated passengers from the bus and bomb disposal units, ambulances and fire engines descended on the Weeford toll plaza of the M6 highway in the West Midlands, 190 kilometers north of London, after the initial reports Thursday.

The sweeping emergency response came just weeks before the July 27 to Aug. 12 Olympics are due to be held in the British capital.

But several hours later, Staffordshire police said that the scene was safe and no suspects were in custody.

The force said it had received a genuine report from a member of the public about vapour escaping from a bag on the bus, which upon investigation turned out to be a an electronic cigarette — a device that aims to help smokers quit.

"We can now confirm that, whilst this was a genuine security alert, the significant concerns reported to us were unfounded," the force said.

It apologized for any inconvenience caused by the security response, saying it hopes people understand its duty to ensure public safety.

Many places are starting to ban use of these indoors due to certain chemicals that are used in them.

I use VIP cigarettes, these are about the best. Sometimes they have starter kits on offer via Groupon.
