That's all well and good but he never looked like anything other than at best an average CB whilst he was here (blame Hudson for that if you want but when Gerrard was out of the team Hudson looked a far better CB). My mate is a Hull fan and he like a lot of Hull fans was amazed he player of the season.

I refuse to believe this even happened, as much as I've grown to dislike Gerrard I cannot for the life of me imagine anybody doing that. I'm not having that, born in Cardiff, played for Cardiff. Of course he cares about us, ofcourse he is a fan of some sort. I know he has his own motives to come back to Cardiff but surely there's more to it than purely being closer to home. If not wouldn't he move to Swansea and continue to play Premier League football as well as being closer to home
