I played for Caer Castell u/12's to u16's Llanishen and Z Sports were the top teams then.Who did you play for Craig

Yes Brin carried a little weight But what a character and a great coach I was amount at least 20 players he coached who played for Wales at some stage

Yes, those names ring a bell. Maurice was a good player, and Bryn was good too.

It was great fun travelling to teams in the valleys. We usually won.
My claim to fame is that when I was on holiday in Cornwall at an International Youth Camp I played a friendly basketball game against a team from the USA base at St Mawgan. The whole team was black, not particularly tall, but hell could they play! Nice bunch of guys. They hammered us but I scored a few baskets and learnt more in that game than ever before.

I remember playing against caer castell in a cup game for ton and gelli boys club, I scored a 3 pointer in the dying seconds to draw the game, then scored another 3 pointer in the dying seconds of added time to draw the game again, then we pulled away in the second period of added time, after I scored a couple more 3 pointers and a bit of a contribution from my team mates.

Dam I was good, in fact very good
