#iLovethecity2012 has clearly grabbed the attention of Cardiff City fans, as over 4,000 people have already snapped up their free tickets for our marquee event at 7pm on Friday 10 August. As known,
Malky Mackay and some key faces from the Cardiff City squad will be here during the night. Over the rest of this week we will be letting you know some of the other activities taking place, so stay tuned.
For starters,
#iLovethecity2012 will be the first chance supporters will get to purchase the 2012/13 home shirt from the official superstore. The shirts will go on sale from 6pm on the night and the superstore will remain open throughout the course of the event.
The 6,000 capacity enclosed stadium event is ticket only and, subject to availability, you can secure your tickets for free up until 5pm on Thursday August 9th by calling 0845 345 1400, by collecting in person or by
clicking the link here now:
https://www.eticketing.co.uk/cardiffcity/default.aspxThe ticket office will, again, subject to availability, also be open on the night and tickets will be priced at £2 each, regardless of age. Please note that the ticket office will then close at 9pm and we will not be admitting entry to the event after this time.
Make sure you don't miss out on a family fun Cardiff City night, culminating in 'the big switch on' and a superb fireworks display.
Parking notice: Due to the Olympic Park & Ride commitment from Cardiff City Council for the Millennium Stadium based football match the same day, parking spaces at Cardiff City Stadium for this event will be limited to 600. Parking will be available from 5:30pm onwards, after the final park & ride bus has departed and Cardiff Council have dent the final bus.Weather notice:NICE!!!! The sun will be out in Cardiff on Friday and it should be a mild and enjoyable evening too, so leave the car at home and make the most of the weather. Don't miss #iLoveTheCity2012

Can't be arsed with all this shit. After everything, all I care about from now is results on the pitch and nothing else, just get us in that league Malky. Apologies but that's how I feel, let them run a mock, I'm numb to it now. I'm a city fan for 90 mins and everything else to do with club at this moment in time can go f**k itself.

If you run a business, you would probably do the same... It kinda makes sense (even though I don't agree with it).

Does any one know if you order online whether you have to print them off or are they delivered in the post?

Gutted.
One of my friends is having a piss up the same night. Part of me wants to abandon him and go to the City.
Well that is until he mentioned he's paying.

Ordered my tickets this morning and discovered that the capacity for the evening is 6,000!
I'd recommend that anybody considering going on Friday, books their tickets ASAP!
