Sat in Scotch Corner having our Sunday lunch and as we were about to leave Annis placed €20 on a horse in the 1.50 at Leopardstown.
Annis placed his money on the 13/2 Claude Carter.
He only done it because he said his message board enemy is Claude Blue, a 2 mile race and the bloody thing was at the back of the pack for 3/4 of the race.
We were laughing at the fact it was last and useless but Annis had the last laugh when the horse charged through the pack over the last 2 fences and won the race by a few lengths.
I reckon Annis owes Claude Blue a pint or two
And to make it better the odds had lengthened before the race started to 7/1.
Mr Abraham is smiling like a Cheshire cat this afternoon.

Id have to back every horse in the race if I made a connection with all my messageboard enemies.
