I didn't watch the game, the much more exciting athletics were on. But from what I seen nobody could pass for shit. Sinclaire was afraid to beat a man. They were just so negative. Not being biased or anything, you could tell Allen, Sinclaire, Taylor and Caulker had spent the last season under Brenda, they weren't positive enough.

Its not a Cardiff v Swansea thing, just being honest on what I saw tonight of most of the Premier League players. Those players being paid 1000's each week just dont compare to what the likes of Mo Farah, Jessica Ennis, Bradley Wiggins etc.. have acheived.

As a Cardiff fan I usually support Allen but tonight his performance was atrocious. He just played safe every single time to be honest. Look forward, too risky, take the easy option. If he wants to make it at Liverpool he's gonna need to take the risks at times and can't afford to play like he did tonight.

Some nonsense posted on here. GB kept the ball pretty well, particularly in the second half, and played a modern type of game that you don't often see from a British national team. I'd like to see Cardiff trying to play more like that rather than relying on the long ball so much.

Allen and Bellamy were GB's stand out players. But Pearce didn't pick a great squad (No real defence midfielder, not enough options in attack).

Why the hell he took Sinclair off when he scored two play-off final penalties is idiotic. Never mind that Sinclair should have taken the two in game anyway.

I didn't really watch the game tonight, but I'm a big admirer of Allen. However, I've always thought that players such as himself can only really play in a system that he's been playing in for the last few years at Swansea. I know that he along with Cleverley and Ramsey played in a three in midfield last night, but the system in which he plays for Swansea is rather unique simply because of the way it's been honed and developed.

Allen played well in the second half - also made some tidy interceptions and tackles. Very excited about him for Wales.
