New electronic advertisment boards [pictures]

Our new boards.

Seems awfully close to the pitch, a player is going to bump into those, this looks like someone has dropped a bollock here?

Why don't they put pictures behind them or something so fans close to the signs can look at summit different other than nothing. Or will there be wooden advertising.

Glad the club are doing it though in enhancing the matchdays experience

I still think there is not much space between the pitch and the electronic boards, look at all the wasted space nearer the seats, mark my words there will be accidents, and not much run up for long throws, I just looked again, I forgot that the pitch is not yet marked so part of the pitch will be running space

Iwould assume there will be fan facing advertising of a more local type. Old style for us in the stands, new fandangoed advertising for the billions watching in Malaysia.

They were in place for the Palace game, and nobody even said a word about the positioning of them. I remember at the time we discussed the importance of them as the electronic boards are a vital way of generating extra income as the advertising is sold per minute.

They are at every Premier League ground as the TV rights are sold worldwide.

The only problem with them with regards to capacity would be if we were in the Champions League, as they are larger and you would lose the first three rows of seating - That said as ours is a new ground, I dont think it would have the same impact as Stamford Bridge or Anfield.

Makes me wonder though, you would only really install them on a permanent basis if you were on TV more frequently, , so I suspect they would be in place for the Asian market ?

Is it just on the Ninian side??

I'm guessing there will be a football match going on. So they can look at that.

I thought they had changed the cameras around and that next season the are facing the Ninian stand?

I thought that was why they wanted the boards for advertising in Asia?

The advertising boards look roughly in the same place as the previous ones. And Aron still has a good run up for his throw ins near the corner flag if you look at some of the pictures. Also we havent done the pitch markings from what I could see so there is room on the pitch for him to run on

Saved me having to say it. You bunch of doughnuts! Worried about seeing some adverts when the purpose of your visit will be to watch some football.

Besides i'm sure they will have a fair few 'Anyone who touches the pitch will be arrested and sent to prison to be bummed' signs to grab your attention

there will be adverising boards behind led also -

and pitch 3m away from play -

led boards will only be ninian stand - if in premier then all around ground

theres plenty of room and if they learn to pass more they will stay on their feet a bit longer

every home game is to be broadcast back to malaysia - they are a permantent fixing now - if get into prem different ball game
sky have all games already for prem but not chamionship !

Pitch as been re seeded. It's Xmas time you will see the real quality of the pitch.

Just got an order in. The Grandstand boards will say 'PETER WHITTINGHAM - HE DOES WHAT HE WANTS' for the next 5 years.
