One of the things that has annoyed me most is the terrible badge.
I think if we had a decent badge, even if red, say Karl's badge, I could accept this a lot more.
I just think the current badge shows the complete disrespect to the club, the history and the fans.
We at least deserved some thought in the process of the new badge and something classy to mark out history.
The whole fiasco has been a disaster.
I personally would have went with Karl's badge after a fan competition and had 'Forever A Bluebird' across the back of the necks with a little bluebird underneath it.
Our owners shamefully did nothing like that.

There is a bluebird on the badge if you didn't know.

Like I've said before, I can relate to the idea of this badge more than Sams, it's says Cardiff City on it and had a bluebird on it (although smaller) but those two together are the most important.
The club had a chance to create a new badge of good quality and failed with something designed by a office junior (or so it seems).
Te original badge will always be my badge but for me the change of crest was nothing compared to the change of colours.

Make it red, swap the Bluebird and Dragon. Job done. Classy badge that marries new and old Cardiff together.

I like the idea but when I seen it, to me it felt wrong and I didn't like it for some reason

I can see what you mean. It would feel to some like a bastardisation of our traditional badge but every time I've seen it I've felt I'm looking at a real Cardiff badge.

Better a bastardisation than an abomination.

Thanks for bringing my badge back into conversation mate, really appreciate your comment..
I've not heard anything back From the city for quite a while now so I've got no news to tell.. I'm just gonna wait it out now , go and watch the games and give city my support.. And hope for a very productive season.

Brilliant badge design, I've set it as my PC wallpaper. The only change I would perhaps make is to swap Est. 1899 and 'Fire and Passion' around. Other than that I'd happily call that our badge, great work.
