What a load of nonsense. Everyone knows Wales would be better off independent.

The only reason people in this country want England is because of extra money. Money does not always bring happiness and we could easily survive if money was spent wisely. We have a vast amount of land to build on and become a manufacturing nation, put people in jobs. Whilst it would be lovely to keep ALL of our landscape it would also be amazing to build between it and embed our industry within the amazing landscape of Wales.

The people in Westminster only really care about the Southeast of England and as long as that part of the UK is booming the rest they do not care about. This is proven by spending.

Yes there will be downsides but no one in reality is going to massively suffer. This is a stupid assertion to make. The fact is we will be better off in how the money is spent. We already have a massive resource in Welsh Water.

People, tell me what Birmingham and Liverpool were to do if England pissed us off and we decided to cut off the taps (Elan Valley) ? Liverpool, Birmingham and the Midlands would be screwed. They depend on us for things too which will still occur even if we went independent. Amicable resolution would occur because both of us depend on each other. Trade does not stop when a country becomes independent.

The only difference is we would get EU subsidies instead of money from Westminster. Our GDP is likely to increase ever so slightly because its a known fact smaller and less populated EU countries prosper. Its all about investing the money wisely and properly. With the right ideas we can build proper roads to link all areas of Wales. These transport systems would open up industry because of it being easier to travel.

The two things stopping Wales becoming independent are fear of change and laziness. People are so used to the way things just are that they'd rather continue down that easy path instead of accepting change, putting in some more hard work and becoming an independent nation.

The way I see it is Wales is currently like a young adult stuck at home living with its parents. Its time for that young adult to find its own two feet in the world, go out into the wild and learn to cope on its own.

How would we run an economy? And our subsidary from the EU wont be as much as what we gain from Westminster.

You want us to be independent? But scrounging off the EU for subsidies, how is that independent?

What manufacturing industries are you going to build? Who is going to buy the manufactured goods?
Who is going to provide the money to build all these factories, roads etc and who is going to use them?

We have a generation population of sickness benefit, so how are we going to subsidise them?

You should go out and get a job, run a business and then return to planet earth before trying to tell us how to run the country.
