Do people not realise under Tan we get more debt? HE's not giving us money for free you know. We will be in much more debt under Tan and he won't make money with us because football clubs rarely make money even when they're in the black its hard for them to make money. Tan will realise he's fighting a losing battle especially with Hammam and himself unwilling to do business properly and he'll pull the plug.

Why should VT pay Langston?

Simply because if VT has no plans to pay Langston like you say then VT would be a liar, we have been promised a debt free club and Langston will be paid off, VT knew the debts of the club when he became involved and he certainly knows what he got to do to carry out his promises of 'his vision'.

I'm starting to believe this whole episode won't be settled until we know our fate next May. If we go up Sam/Langston will be paid £10m + £5m without much fuss.

If we fail to get promoted again then I suspect Tan will put us into Administration and blame Langston for failing to take the earlier offers.

By then VT will be owed something like £75m. When Ranson, PMG and the rest take their bit of the secured property there won't be much left over to cover VT's loans and therefore he will become easily the biggest unsecured creditor.

He can then make an offer to buy CCFC out of Admin for as little as a few million (& get it accepted as the biggest creditor) and then he starts again with a 'debt free' Cardiff City.

None of us can even begin to understand what financial experts at that level are doing, we can guess all we want but the truth is, if we knew we wouldnt be doing the jobs we are probably all in now!

I'm not arguing Carl and I wish VT would just pay the £10m (with the bonus) and be done with it. But VT holds the cards and calls the shots and I'm sure a blame game will be played out well before this mess either ends up being sorted by promotion or the Administration process.

The thing is we hear the same thing every single season, I'm tired of worrying about my club.

Craig, It's been well over 2 yrs since Tan agreed to settle it, when he signed and agreed that he accepted this debt was owing.

Thats the way I see it. Sam is holding out for as much as he can, but is playing the Joker. Undoubtedly VT will strike a deal with Sam if we are promoted. If we are in the Championship next year, I can see Sam ending up with nothing.

I can not understand the people who say Sam is in a strong position and Sam has the club at heart. Sam will be bricking it if we are not in the top 2 at Christmas.

How is it Tans debt when he only owns 49% of the club

I believe by the end of this seasons Tans investment will be about 40-50m, if he decides he's had enough, all he can do is walk away there is no way he could recoup more than a couple of million at best from player sales. So can you see a Business man of his standing in Malaysia walking away from a Football club and admitting defeat or being given the run around by Sam Hamman ?
