CLUB STATEMENT...or something !

I think most fans will be at least a little concerned that no agreement was reached with Langston before the deadline. Personally I think that in view of the fact most fans (albeit reluctantly) accepted the re-branding in return for investment, clearing historic debts and turning them into equity etc we are owed a statement from the Club regarding the progress being made on "their side of the bargain." Is it not possible that one of the supporters groups or representatives from this forum could meet with or at least make approaches to VT/TG to see what is happening?

Agree, im anti red but understand those who dont share my opnion.

But as i understand it many of the pro reds have adopted a pragmatic position based on VT investing - and in turn that was dependent on the lansgton shit being sorted. If the lansgton shit rumbles on, havent we got the worst of both worlds?

If the signings dry up unless Malky can shift Earnie, DK and AG as has been suggested on here then I think they may have some explaining to do. The last thing they can afford to do is lose the fans. None of us WANT red. Many of us are prepared to accept it in exchange for the promises they made. If those promises are not kept then all hell will break loose.

Theres lots to sort out and maybe they will stick to what they are doing but it could take time and this langston stuff doesnt help.
I didnt want red i'd rather stay traditional blue but like you i want the club to move forward not backwards just hope they hurry up and get it sorted

Sam (or was it Langston) gave the Club a deadline of July 31st to pay what they were asking for. Apparently negotiations broke down.

anyone who thought the malaysians were gonna be bullied into being given a deadline date to pay must be mad, as soon as i read Sam had gave a deadline i knew things would stall........Were talking about two rich men on power trips who want to do things on there own terms here!

Negotiation will now take place on the malaysians terms now they have decided to not comply with his demands, Risky...Maybe?? depends how serious sam was in saying all negotiations would be off, or could it be a strong buisness decision to get negotiations where they want them which will financially benefit us?? Who knows??

I believe , they will release a statement after the Shareholders meeting. Dont know that to be a fact , just a gut feeling.
