Is anyone surprised that the fans that hate the change...

Tue Jul 31, 2012 7:39 pm

Have let this happen. I am surprised that there wasn't much of a fight. I honestly thought there would be outrage. And I mean proper out rage. No protesting no demonstrations no nothing. Very surprised.

There was a sort of protest meeting, and we all know how that turned out...

We have done all that before.

Just dont wear red this season.....that is more beneficial than any protest.

Do you think Liverpool fans would have accepted being blue. Or man city being red? All would have accepted?

Still don't wash with me. My personal view is that everyone will complain on social network sites but never had the balls to do anything about it because deep deep down they know its right for our club. In a funny way I think those fans that hurt but crack on are the true true Cardiff city fans :ayatollah:

I've been wondering this all along, and i'm pretty sure Annis has too from when we've spoke.

It's embarrassing as far as i'm concerned.

I doubt it.

We'll probably just continue to lie down and do nothing sadly. :(

dictatorships have been overturned, political systems have been brought down, just by peaceful protesting... the re-branding is nothing compared to those events...

There has not been uproar because most people will accept the change but only for the club to be dept free.

Fingers crossed.

Same colours as Bristol City!

I'm also ver surprised about that many have rolled over and accepted it. Another dissaponting fact about the rebrand.

Barrie if he does what he has promised I think over 80% of the fans would back it. But so far he has not carried out disly squat of what he promised. And I don't believe he has any intention of doing so either. Now that is where I disagree with you mate. Hope I am wrong for the sake of my club I really do but I fear I am right and if I am we are finished. Portsmouth here we come. Give them time I am being told but why has he gone back on everything he has promised ?

You are in a very small minority, the vast number of supporters are prepared to go along with it for the good of the club, the people that I have spoken to are mature and sensible about the situation, this is only a short term fix, things will, I believe revert back to how they were given time.

Exactly right Baz just like in all things with life people bitch and moan but never do anything about it. If every City fan protested or put thier words into actions it may have made a difference

But Pompey had a chance to rebuild the club after administration but instead decided to sign big wages on players they couldn't afford once again. Only themselves to blame.

What could any of us done,
Had we protested in our thousands it would of fallen on deaf ears.

Had we all emailed the club (as some and I did), would we have all had replies.
Some people did get a reply that emailed their feelings towards the change.
But it was all for the good of the club apparently.

Football fans love their football and deep down TG and VT both know that any changes may not be welcomed but we all still keep attending games home and away.

If we are haemorrhaging money then their money that is keeping us afloat must be welcomed.
They must talk to us, the fans, on any other changes they are planning.

And I also think that if we dont go up this year then the shit will hit the fan.
But........
They can't guarantee promotion, nobody can, they can't affect the way Wolves or Bolton for example will play this coming season,

If we get to the Premiership I would like to think they could turn us back to blue cos if they see red as lucky and it gets us out of the league we have been in for a decade now then I'll be more than happy :ayatollah:

As Ian has said above just don't buy anything Red if u hate it, I hate it and won't be buying anything red that's for sure.
