Naming the stadium would be one way of getting money to pay off Sam.
Don't care what it's called.

I believe the current deal says they get the money should the club chose to sell the naming rights.
The new offer he waives that right so if they know they can get a good fee they may up the offer to Langston?

i beleive that langston are prepared to waiver it once a deal has been settled...........which it aint yet apparently so as it stands we cant sell it yet?!

Exactly, so it won't have a new name until a deal is complete.
Alternatively Langston may be willing to take less from Tan if they get money from the naming rights (making up from the shortfall that Langston want)

Seems like it could be a usefull way of pushing negotiations through

Who said anything about the stadium being sponsored??
The only reference to it was me saying "the peters pie stadium" due to a link on twitter!
Peters pies no doubt have got a food suppliers contract for food outlets in the ground or have advertised on a pitch side board or programme advert thats all
Tue Jul 31, 2012 5:37 pm
So Cardiff Blues leave the CCS and have their contract cancelled without having to pay it up. In return Peters Pies will pay for a large sponsorship deal.
Sam wants £10million and if he can have £5million on promotion he will give up his rights to the stadium naming revenue.
VT offers Peters Pies the naming rights should they become available and the money can then fund the extra £5million that Sam wants on promotion.
Thats my conspiracy theory anyway.
I would rather play in red and have a new badge than have the stadium named after a pir though.

im looking forward to sitting in the mince beef and onion stand!
joking aside, it will probably be a preffered partnership making them the sole supplier to the stadium...
