Woe is me. Our squad is shit. We'll be lucky to finish tenth. Cardiff are doomed.

At THIS stage, with weeks to go to the start of the season....

Have we EVER had a stronger squad??

Even when DJ was gaffer, and we had the 'big names'... in the summer a few would
be shipped out to cope with our debts, and he'd have to work hard to replace them.
(usually with old timers on big wages).This season, nobody we really wanted has left.
I feel its harsh on Miller, but ultimately, he did not get the goals, and we need that
20 a season player. We have probably Bellamy, possibly Maynard or at least another
fairly high profile goalscorer to come here if not NM. We are also tracking the extra
defender we need. Does anyone really think the above squad is shit, or weak?

Exactly what I was thinking Miller, all though Chops had his problem and Jay needed to get off his arse half the time, them two in this team would be amazing.

Not knocking what we got, Mason will do a job, just hope Etien finds his feet.

Need to sign a couple more quality front players for me.

Defence and midfield is as strong as its ever been but 2 years agos forward line of chops, jay and CB39 would take some beating.

That is exactly what I meant above CP76, it was a frightening front line.

If we sign Bellamy and Maynard with out doubt, the side with Chops, Betty and Bellamy was so paper thin in Midfield and that's why we failed IMO

I'm feeling very positive - and confident that there will be more coming in.

This must be the strongest midfield ever?

We don't know what we have got with Etien and Kim Bo in this league (and Rudi was missing from the list - if he can sort out his persisitent hamstring problems I think he will get better and better...) but we need more firepower up front.

Hopefully with more technically sound passing players we won't have much hoofball to small strikers - so no need for the 'targetman' everyone always pines for.

If Gerrard stays we are OK at CB (Gabor gone and Keinan didn't get a sniff last year) with Darcy also there - but if he goes we need a (better) replacement. We are also light on FB cover now Quinn and Naylor gone.

Malky is recruiting, developing and feeding in youth players really well too - building the club not just the first team.
