I think a stand should be named after him as more people could enjoy the gesture. Just a personal thought mind.

Don't be silly! We could make a fortune selling naming rights to stadium and stands. Although, I would not be against naming one stand after a legend like... Fred Keenor for instance.

Without sounding disrespetful, I think it would be more fitting to have a stand renamed in tribute to the 1927 team. A bit simplistic but 'The 1927 Stand' would be a nice touch.

Yes i agree one stand should be called the 1927 stand i think that sounds quite good and i dont no of one other ground that has sumthing like that?

but if we had won it in 2008 would u name another stand because of them?
